This page will be a listing of the various awards I've won with this army over the years. You'll notice that most of them are painting related; indicating that my playing skills are nowhere near on par with my painting abilities. Most of the hobby for me is about the art: modeling, painting, sculpting, and all that. The events are really just reasons to hang out with friends, and have a few drinks.

LaCrosse, WI ~ Bugman's Oktoberfest A 2,200 point tourney. Had a blast in LaCrosse, as always. This one was mostly due to player votes. Thanks to all the blokes who voted for me! See the Army Lists sections for details on the results.
September 24 & 25, 2011 ~ Player's Choice
Downers Grove, IL ~ Core Comp Another 2,400 point tourney. See the Army Lists sections for details on the results. I met a ton of kewl people here, and had an amazing weekend. Much thanks to all players who voted for me for Player's Choice. I also took 3rd Place for Best General, and 2nd Place for Best Appearance.
July 10, 2011 ~ Best General
Mundelein, IL ~ Blood in the Sun A 2,400 point tourney. I worked forever on getting the Harpies done for this event. See the Army Lists sections for details on the results. I took Best General, came in second overall, and had the highest paint score to boot.
April 1, 2011 ~ Best Appearance
Chicago, IL ~ Adepticon Big Brawl This was a 3,000 point tourney. After months of doing little more than painting Gors, Ungors, and a Jabberslythe; I had a really large force for this event. There were several really nice armies here, so this one meant a lot!
March 27, 2010 ~ Purdiest Hammer
Chicago, IL ~ Adepticon Size Matters This was a 2,999 point tourney. One of the last big 7th edition events. I finished another big bunch of minotaurs for this event, and won the painting/appearance award.
December 12, 2009 ~ Champion of the Brush
Madison, WI ~ Merry Mayhem A different name for the best painted award. At this event, player donations raised over $450 cash for Toys for Tots, plus there were a slew of toys donated.
November 13 & 14, 2009 ~ Best Appearance
The Twin Cities, MN ~ The Northstar GT This one was taken from a field of over 50 players. There were some really fantastic armies, and it means a lot to me to have won this!

The Twin Cities, MN ~ Saint Valentine's Day Massacre This was a team event, being in honor of St. Valentines day and all. Me and Mr. Joe Rogers took this award from a field of great competition.
